Das erste "Hyde Park Festival" wurde im Jahre 2006 veranstaltet. Das Rockfestival zieht seitdem jährlich bis zu 100.000 Zuschauer an.
 
Am 30. Juni 2013 werden neben Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band auch The Carnabys, Deaf Havana, Zac Brown Band, Alabama Shakes und The Black Crowes auftreten.
