Die beiden Spanientermine haben sich geändert.

Bruce wird mit seiner E-Street Band schon am 28. Juli ’09 in Sevilla spielen. Das ursprünglich für diesen Termin geplante Konzert in Benidorm wurde auf den 30. Juli verschoben:

• 28. Juli 2009 – Sevilla – La Cartuja Stadium, Spanien
• 30. Juli 2009 – Benidorm – Estadio Municipal de Foietes, Spanien

Six Air Force Thunderbirds have just roared overhead at what felt like inches above our backstage area, giving myself and the entire E Street Band a brush cut. With 20 minutes to go, I’m sitting in my trailer trying to decide what boots to wear. I’ve got a nice pair of cowboy boots my feet look really good in, but I’m concerned about their stability. Two days ago we rehearsed in full rain on the field and the stage became as slick as an ice pond. It was almost impossible to stand on. It was so slick I crashed into Mike Colucci, our cameraman, coming off my knee slide, his camera the only thing that kept me from launching out onto the soggy turf. When Jerry the umpire in „Glory Days“ did his bit, he came running out, couldn’t stop himself and executed one of the most painfully perfect „man slips on a banana peel“ falls I’ve ever seen. This sent Steve, myself and the entire band into one of the biggest stress-induced laughters of our lives that lasted all the way back to our trailers. (A few Advil and Jerry was okay.)

Bruce Springsteen wird am 28. Juni 2009 in London anlässlich des „Hard Rock Calling Festivals“ im Hyde Park auftreten.

Der Vorverkauft beginnt am 13. Februar 2009. Tickets können über die Plattformen Ticketmaster und Live Nation bestellt werden. Reisen und Hotels können günstig über EXPEDIA.DE gebucht werden.

‘The Boss’ and the E Street Band will perform their first ever-festival appearance outside of the United States, at Hard Rock Calling 2009 in Hyde Park, London on June 28th

Main support comes from multi-million album selling American rockers Dave Matthews Band – with their hybrid of jazz, folk and a distinct pop sensibility resonating through capacity stadiums in the United States.  They will be joining Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band on Sunday 28 June with full supporting line-up to be announced.

New Jersey’s newest and hottest sons, The Gaslight Anthem, will also be joining the lineup on June 28th.  Currently in the midst of a world tour, The Gaslight Anthem are the hottest ticket around and have been cited as the best new band fans will hear  in 2009.

Hard Rock Calling is now established as one of the most important London events on the UK musical calendar. Past years have seen Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, Roger Waters, The Police and The Who create what is now identified as the most prestigious and ‘must be at’ open air music event in the UK.
