Bruce Springsteen wird bekanntlich mit der E Street Band am 1. Februar 2009 die „Super Bowl“ Halbzeitshow im Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL bestreiten. Gerüchten zufolge, wird der „Boss“ spätestens am Freitag, den 23. Januar 2009 mit den Proben im Convention Center, Asbury Park, NJ beginnen.

Bruce Springsteen wird laut einer Meldung der „Washington Post“ am 18. Januar ein Free-Konzert am Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC spielen. Ausserdem soll eine landesweite Liveübertragung auf HBO geplant sein.
