Am Samstag Abend stieg das Abschlusskonzert der “Light of Day” Konzertserie im „Paramount Theatre“ in Asbury Park, NJ (wir berichteten hier und hier).

Wie bereits vermutet, kam Bruce Springsteen gegen Mitternacht als Stargast auf die Bühne und spielte mit seinem Freund Joe Grushecky ein zweistündiges Konzert. Zuvor performte der „Boss“ mit Garland Jeffreys „Wild in the Street“ und mit Willie Nile „One Guitar“.

Bruce Springsteen played for close to two hours with Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers at part of Light of Day 12 to benefit Parkinson’s Disease. Springsteen also played with two other artists and played a magical acoustic „Incdent on 57th Street“ before joining Joe Grushecky and his band.
