E Street Band Gitarrist Nils Lofgren besuchte „Springsteen On Broadway“ am Dienstag Abend (17. Oktober 2017):

Bruce Springsteens autobiografisches Soloprogramm „Springsteen On Broadway“ wird höchstwahrscheinlich verlängert. Nach der New York Post berichtete auch Variety.com über eine mögliche Verlängerung bis zum Sommer 2018.

Variety.com schreibt:

The Boss could extend his Broadway run at the Walter Kerr Theatre — which was the originally scheduled to run through Feb. 3— possibly until June, according to reports. / Quelle

In einem Interview mit billboard.com äusserte sich E Street Gitarrist Steven Van Zandt über Bruce Springsteens Broadway Show.

Little Steven sagte:

Bruce’s thing is fluid at the moment. He’s done [on Broadway] in February. It’s such a remarkable show. I saw it twice. My hope, and I haven’t spoke to him about this, but I would hope for the rest of the world to get the chance to see it, maybe he would take it on the road a little bit. / Quelle

Das Rolling Stone Magazin veröffentlichte gestern ein lesenswertes Interview mit Bruce Springsteen. Der „Boss“ sprach mit David Fricke über den überraschenden Tod der Rock ’n Roll Ikone Tom Petty am 2. Oktober 2017 (wir berichteten hier).

Bruce Springsteen sagte:

„Tom is my generation. We were from the same generation of rock & rollers. And so you feel very close to those guys. There’s not that many of them that have survived. Abermals war das „Walter Kerr Theatre“ restlos ausverkauft. Bruce Springsteen kam kurz nach 20:00 Uhr auf die Bühne und begeisterte für knapp 120 Minuten die 960 anwesenden Zuschauer.

Die New York Post berichtete heute, dass Bruce Springsteen sein Broadway Engagement eventuell bis zum Sommer 2017 ausdehnen wird.
