In Nörten-Hardenberg findet jedes Jahr das „Internationale Burgturnier“ statt. Dabei handelt es sich um ein wichtiges Springreiterturnier. Am Start war am 24. Mai 2013 auch Bruce Springsteens Tochter Jessica (21) mit ihrem braunen Wallach „Vindicat“.

Bruce Springsteen wurde mit Ehefrau Patti Scialfa ebenfalls beim „Burgturnier“ gesichtet.

Die „Wrecking Ball Australia Tour 2013“ ist beendet und Bruce Springsteen durfte sich über einen stattlichen Gewinn freuen. Billboard.biz berichtet in diesem Zusammenhang, dass Bruce Springsteen für die 10 Konzerte in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne und Hanging Rock insgesamt 153.171 Tickets im Vorverkauf veräussern konnte. Es ergibt sich ein Umsatz in Höhe von 25.314.926 Dollar. Mit diesem Ergebnis landete der Künstler auf Platz 1 der „Billboard Top Tour Statistik“ für den Monat März.

Seit Anfang April ist Bruce Springsteen zurück in den Vereinigten Staaten.
Am Wochenende wurde Bruce Springsteen gemeinsam mit Ehefrau Patti Scialfa in der schönen Stadt Tampa in Florida gesichtet. Unter anderem besuchte der „Boss“ die „Tampa Horse Competition“, um seiner Tochter Jessica beim Springreiten zuzuschauen.

Darüber hinaus wurde bekannt, dass sich Bruce Springsteen ein neues Motorrad gekauft hat. Bereits im Winter besuchte er seinen alten Freund und Labelkollegen Billy Joel in dessen „20th Century“ Motorradgeschäft in Oyster Bay, NY. Das Internetmagazin Ultimateclassicrock.com berichtete, dass sich der 63jährige für eine umgebaute Kawasaki W650 mit schwarzem Rahmen und goldenem Tank entschieden hat.

Die „Wrecking Ball Tour 2013“ wird am 29. April 2013 in Oslo, Norwegen fortgesetzt. Für den 29. und 30. April 2013 sind zwei Shows in der Telenor Arena geplant.

Die aus Birmingham in Alabama stammende Folk- und Country Ikone Emmylou Harris veröffentlicht am 1. März 2013 gemeinsam mit dem amerikanischen Countrysänger Rodney Crowell das Album „Old Yellow Moon“. Das Werk umfasst 12 Songs – darunter auch das Patti Scialfa Cover „Spanish Dancer“.

Bruce Springsteens Ehefrau Patti Scialfa komponierte „Spanish Dancer“ im Jahre 1993 für ihr Debutalbum „Rumble Doll“. Das Album wurde von den Fans und der Presse sehr positiv aufgenommen. Bruce Springsteen performte den Song im Jahre 2001 anlässlich einer „Holiday Show“ in Asbury Park, NJ.

Die kanadische Country-Rock Formation „Blackie & The Rodeo Kings“ veröffentlichten am 14. Juni 2011 ihr siebtes Studioalbum. Auf „Kings and Queens“ sind 14 Songs zu finden, die mit bekannten Musikgrössen wie Rosanne Cash, Emmylou Harris, Pam Tillis, Serena Ryder, Lucinda Williams und Bruce Springsteens Ehefrau Patti Scialfa eingespielt wurden.
Patti Scialfa singt auf „Shelter Me Lord“ die zweite Stimme.

Bruce Springsteen ist gestern (Samstag, 11. Juni 2011) in Salzburg eingetroffen, um seine Tochter Jessica bei „Young Riders Cup“ in Lamprechtshausen anzufeuern. Mit dabei war ausserdem Ehefrau Patti Scialfa.
