Springsteen recently performed at the Presidential Inauguration and is set to perform at Super Bowl XLIII. His new album ‘Working on a Dream’ is earning exemplary reviews. In Brian Hiatt’s 5-star Rolling Stone review of ‘Working on a Dream,’ he raves about its “romantic sweep and swaggering musical ambition.” For the full review, please go to:

People Magazine wrote, “With many of these songs itching to be taken on the road, ‘Dream’ continues the classic-Springsteen revival of ‘Magic.'”

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly’s Simon Vozick-Levinson’s gave the album an “A” grade: http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20253916,00.html

Update: Bruce Springsteen World Tour 2009 & Glastonbury Festival

Juni 2009:
GLASTONBURY boss MICHAEL EAVIS has gone back to basics in a bid to banish the bad memories of this year’s event. The choice of rapper JAY-Z as festival headliner back in June angered thousands. And donating the cherished Friday night headline slot to relative youngsters KINGS OF LEON raised a few eyebrows. So, in order to avoid any more ill-feeling, the dairy farmer is taking a step back in time to wheel out some big guns. YOUNG and BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN will join ageing Brit-poppers BLUR as bill-toppers at next year’s event.

Bonnaroo Festival – 11. bis 14. Juni 2009:
Bonnaroo, the East Coast’s premiere multi-day, multi-stage gathering of the vibes (held in Manchester, Tennessee from June 11th to 14th) usually doesn’t release its lineup until early February — but RollingStone.com hears from reliable sources close to Phish that the band will top the bill for two nights, restoring the fest to its jam-friendly roots. …Also being buzzed about with some legitimacy: Bruce Springsteen as Sunday night’s closer.
