Seit Freitag ist in Bruce Springsteens Live-Archiv eine neue Show verfügbar! Nugs.net präsentiert exklusiv ein Live Konzert der „Working On A Dream Tour“ im „Wachovia Spectrum“ in Philadelphia, PA vom 14. Oktober 2009.

Die „Working On A Dream Tour“ startete am 1. April 2009 in der „SAP Arena“ in San Jose, CA und endete nach 83 Shows am 22. November 2009 in Buffalo, NY. Insgesamt besuchten 1,8 Millionen Fans die Konzerte in den Vereinigten Staaten, Spanien, Italien, Frankreich, Schottland, Irland, Dänemark, Österreich, Deutschland, der Schweiz, England, Norwegen, Schweden, Finnland, den Niederlanden sowie Kanada.

Am 14. Oktober 2009 feierte der Song „What Love can Do“ (aus dem Working on a Dream Album) seine Weltpremiere. Ferner wurde das komplette „Darkness in the Edge of Town“ Album Live vor 20.000 Zuschauern gespielt.

For the first time since 2022 we’re proud to present to you an official release from the archives: Philadelphia 10/14/09 with a full album performance of Darkness On The Edge Of Town.
„Looking to do something special for fans on the final leg of the Working On A Dream tour, Springsteen elects to revisit full classic albums in-sequence. Philadelphia October 14, 2009 showcases Darkness On The Edge Of Town and includes standout performances of „Something In The Night,“ „Streets Of Fire“ and „Prove It All Night.“ Beyond Darkness, the 26-song set opens on a high note with vintage barnstormer „Thundercrack,“ and features the only live version to date of Working On A Dream gem „What Love Can Do,“ plus „Sherry Darling,“ „Human Touch,“ „Long Walk Home“ and a special „Gonna Fly Now“ trumpet solo intro to „Rosalita.“
