Night two of the legendary three-show stand at Nassau Coliseum 1980 is a barnstormer. It features the tour premiere of “Night” as the opener and, in its lone River tour performance, an extraordinary “Incident On 57th Street” into “Rosalita” to close the set. Spanning 35 songs, Nassau 12/29 beautifully blends deep River cuts (“Stolen Car,” “Wreck on the Highway,” “Point Blank”), seasonal nuggets (“Merry Christmas Baby” and “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and fan favorites (“Fire,” “Because the Night”).

For the first time, multi-track master tapes of the classic New Year’s Eve 1980 show have been transferred via Plangent Processes and newly remixed by Jon Altschiller for superior sound. This upgraded edition breathes fresh life into a jaw-dropping 38-song performance which is packed with highlights, including “Spirit in the Night,” “Rendezvous,” “Fade Away,” “The Price You Pay,” “Held Up Without a Gun,” “In The Midnight Hour,” “Auld Lang Syne,” “Twist and Shout” and “Raise Your Hand.” The all-time fan favorite has never sounded better.

Während des vorletzten Konzerts der “The River Tour 1980” präsentierte Bruce Springsteen mit “Night” und “Incident On 57th Street” zwei Tourpremieren. Zwei Tage später – am 31. Dezember 1980 spielte die E Street Band insgesamt 38 Songs. Darunter auch die Weltpremiere des River-Outtakes “Held Up Without A Gun”. Ferner stimmte Bruce Springsteen das traditionelle englische Silvesterlied “Auld Lang Syne” an.

Die “Wrecking Ball World Tour” startete am 18. März 2012 in Atlanta, GA und endete nach 133 Shows am 21. September 2013 in Rio de Janeiro (Brasilien).

Am Vorabend seines 63. Geburtstags stand Bruce Springsteen auf der Bühne des “Metlife Stadium” und begeisterte die knapp 50.000 Zuschauer mit einer legendären Show. Unter anderem durften sich die Fans über 4 Tourpremieren freuen!

Nicht nur der auf “Tracks” im Jahre 1998 erstveröffentlichte Song “Cynthia”, sondern auch “Meeting Across the River” (Born To Run, 1975), “Into The Fire” (The Rising, 2002) sowie der Wilson Pickett Klassiker “In The Midnight Hour” wurde im Rahmen der “Wrecking Ball” Konzertreise zum ersten Mal performt.

Zum Abschluss des Konzerts kamen als Gäste Gary U.S. Bonds, Adele Springsteen, Ginny Springsteen, Mike Scialfa, Patricia Scialfa und Maureen Van Zandt auf die Bühne, um Bruce Springsteen mit “Happy Birthday To You” zu überraschen.

Bruce Springsteen bestritt im Rahmen der “Bruce Springsteen World Tour 1992-1993” mit seiner “The Other Band” insgesamt 107 Shows in Europa und Nordamerika.

Nach der umjubelten Europa Tournee im Frühsommer 1992 füllte er die 20.000 Zuschauer fassende “Brendan Byrne Arena” in East Rutherford, NJ elf Mal. Am zweiten Abend – 25. Juli 1992 – stimmte er unter anderem den Wilson Pickett Klassiker “Ninety-Nine And A Half (Won’t Do) an.

Zwischen dem 27. September 1985 und dem 2. Oktober 1985 trat Bruce Springsteen mit seiner E Street Band 4 Mal im ausverkauften “Memorial Coliseum” in Los Angeles, CA auf. Mit diesen vier Auftritten ging die 156 Konzerte umfassende “Born in the USA World Tour” zu Ende. 331.892 Menschen erlebten im September/Oktober 1985 die wohl herausragensten Konzerte der siebzehnmonatigen “Born in the USA” Welttournee, die Bruce Springsteen im Juni 1985 auch für zwei Shows nach Deutschland führte.

Am ersten Abend – 27. September 1985 – feierte “Janey, Don’t You Lose Heart” sowie der im Jahre 1970 von Edwin Starr komponierte Song “War” ihre Live Premieren.

Die “Devils & Dust Tour 2005” endete mit zwei Shows in der knapp 9.000 Zuschauer fassenden “Sovereign Bank Arena” in Trenton, NJ.

Nugs.net präsentiert nun die finale Show dieser 76 Gigs umfassenden Konzertreise. Am 22. November 2005 performte Bruce Springsteen im Rahmen des 155minütigen Auftritts 26 Songs und überraschte die Zuschauer mit “Song for the Orphans”. Besagte Komposition stammt aus dem Jahre 1972 und war Bestandteil der legendären John Hammond Demotapes.

Ferner begeisterte der “Boss” mit den Tourpremieren von “Zero And Blind Terry”, “Fire”, “Mansion On The Hill” (mit Stargast Patti Scialfa) sowie dem Weihnachtslied “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”.
