Am 21. Juli 2023 erscheint Nils Lofgrens neues Studioalbum „Mountains“.
Auf „Mountains“ bewegt sich der E Street Band Gitarrist Nils Lofgren nahtlos zwischen bluesigen Rocksongs und sanften Balladen. Auf seinem neuen Werk zeichnet sich der mittlerweile 71jährige Künstler erneut als geschickter Geschichtenerzähler und begnadeter Gitarrist aus.
Bei den 9 brandneuen Kompositionen und dem Bruce Springsteen Cover „Back In Your Arms“ wurde er unter anderem von Neil Young, Ringo Starr, David Crosby, Cindy Mizelle, dem Howard Gospel Choir sowie Ron Carter, Andy Newmark und Kevin McCormick unterstützt.
