29. Mai 2020: Live in Concert – Dropkick Murphys & Bruce Springsteen
Die aus Quincy im US Bundesstaat Massachusetts stammende Rockformation „Dropkick Murphys“ bestritt am 29. Mai 2020 im „Fenway Park“ in Boston, MA ein zweieinhalbstündiges Konzert vor leeren Rängen.

Der Gig im 37.000 Zuschauer fassenden Baseball Stadion wurde Live und kostenlos im Internet übertragen. Ausserdem wurde Bruce Springsteen von seinem Zuhause in New Jersey zugeschaltet und steuerte zwei Songs bei.

This free live stream will have NO AUDIENCE in the stands…. That’s another first – no band has ever played a full show in an empty sports stadium !! This means you get to take part in this show with your rowdy kids and neighbors right from your own living room or backyard…

Am 22. April 2009 durften „Dropkick Murphys“ bei einem Bruce Springsteen Konzert im „TD Banknorth Garden“ in Boston, MA die E Street Band bei den Kompositionen „Glory Days“ und „American Land“ verstärken.
Am 18. März 2011 revanchierte sich Bruce Springsteen und war Gast bei einer Dropkick Murphy Show im „House of Blues“ in Boston, MA. Der „Boss“ stimmte die Songs „Peg O‘ My Heart“, „Badlands“ sowie „I’m Shipping Up To Boston“ an.
Im gleichen Jahr beteiligte sich Bruce Springsteen beim siebten Dropkick Murphys Longplayer „Going Out In Style“. Dropkick Murphys und Bruce Springsteen spielten für das Album den im Jahre 1913 entstandenen Evergreen „Peg O‘ My Heart“ neu ein und landeten mit dem Album einen Top 10 Hit.
Dropkick Murphys feat. Bruce Springsteen – „Rose Tattoo“
2013 – kurz nach dem Anschlag auf den „Boston Marathon“ – releasten Dropkick Murphys und Bruce Springsteen die Charity EP „Rose Tattoo“. Auf der EP findet man die Live-Acoustic Versionen von “Rose Tattoo”, “Jimmy Collins’s Wake” und “Don’t Tear Us Apart”. Die Tracks wurden am 19. April 2013 nach dem besagten Terroranschlag in einem Aufnahmestudio in Las Vegas, NV eingespielt.
