Bruce Springsteen hat während des „Inaugural Celebration Concert“ am Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC zwei Songs performt. Mit dem Inaugural Celebration Chor spielte er „The Rising“.
Nach Barack Obamas Ansprache lies er gemeinsam mit Tao Rodriguez und Pete Seeger den Woody Guthrie Klassiker „This Land is Your Land“ folgen. Wenig später kam er noch einmal auf die Bühne und sang mit allen Künstlern „America the Beautiful“. Den ganzen Auftritt findet man hier.

Bruce Springsteen hat am Samstag Abend mit anderen Stars an der Generalprobe teilgenommen. Unter anderem hat er „Working on a Dream“, „The Rising“ und „This Land is Your Land“ geprobt.

Um sein neues Album „Working on a Dream“ zu promoten, wird er im „SIRIUS E-Street Radio“ Studio zu Gast sein, um aus dem Nähkästchen zu plaudern und seine Lieblingssong vorzustellen.

SIRIUS XM Radio announced today that Bruce Springsteen will guest deejay a special on E Street Radio, the exclusive commercial-free channel dedicated to the music of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. The Bruce Springsteen special will air on E Street Radio SIRIUS channel 10 and XM channel 58.

Bruce Springsteen sat down with Dave Marsh, SIRIUS XM host and music journalist, to play music hand-picked by Bruce from his personal record collection. Bruce will share how he discovered each song and what he likes about the music in his commentary. SIRIUS XM listeners will hear Bruce playing a variety of music ranging from folk songs to contemporary music including hip hop and progressive rock.

The first edition of the Bruce Springsteen guest deejay special will premiere on Monday, January 19 at 4 pm ET and will be rebroadcast on Tuesday, January 20 at 12 midnight and 8 am ET; Wednesday, January 21 at 11 am ET; Thursday, January 22 at 6 pm ET; Friday, January 23 at 4 pm ET; Saturday, January 24 at 12 midnight and 8 am ET; and Sunday, January 25 at 4 pm ET.

The second edition of Bruce’s guest deejay special will premiere on Monday, January 26 at 4 pm ET and will be rebroadcast on Tuesday, January 27 at 12 midnight and 8 am ET; Wednesday, January 28 at 11 am; Thursday, January 29 at 6 pm ET; Friday, January 30 at 4 pm ET; and Saturday, January 31 at 12 midnight and 8 am ET.

Die „Rock’n Roll Hall of Fame“ ehrt Rocklegende Bruce Springsteen mit einer Sonderausstellung. Unter dem Motto „From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life of Bruce Springsteen“ wird dem Besucher ein Einblick in das Leben und Wirken des Musikers gewährt.

Die Sonderausstellung wird am 1. April eröffnet.

Wednesday, April 1 – The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will open the world’s first exhibit devoted to the life and music of Bruce Springsteen: From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will open its first exhibit devoted to Bruce Springsteen  before the hall’s induction ceremony April 4 in Cleveland.
“From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen” opens April 1. Rock Hall officials couldn’t disclose specifics about the exhibit on Springsteen, inducted in 1999.
This year’s ceremony will be the first in Cleveland since ’97. Admission to the Rock Hall, three hours from Fort Wayne, is free that day.
